Jonathan Parkes

Jonathan is the Head of Research and Data at the Independent Schools Council (ISC). The Research Team carries out a number of projects each year, the most significant of which is the annual Census, which collects data from all ISC member schools on a broad range of subject areas including pupil and teacher numbers, school fees and fee assistance, and partnerships with state schools.

Before joining ISC in 2016, Jonathan worked for 14 years as an IT Consultant for a leading management consultancy. He has worked with many public sector clients, including most recently spending three years working with the Department for Education to analyse and capture data more accurately and consistently to allow the Department to make more informed decisions.

Jonathan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and a Master’s degree in Computer Science.
