Chief Operating Officer - The Council of British International Schools (COBIS)

Margaret is responsible for the effective operation of the Council of British International Schools (COBIS), the premier membership organisation representing over 500 British international schools and commercial organisations.  She is responsible for ensuring high-quality services for members, partners and stakeholders around the world. Committed to translating COBIS’ strategic development goals into practical and compliant actions, she also has specific oversight of COBIS communications, membership management and engagement, safeguarding, data, compliance and strategic partnership development.

Before joining COBIS in 2017, Margaret worked in a leadership capacity at a publishing and events organisation that provided CPD and school improvement services for over 5000 schools in the U.K. and internationally. Prior to this, she held a number of event/conference R&D, marketing and communication roles.
